PILATES FOR RIDING CLASS
Our Pilates For Riding classes are designed with the rider in mind, and include specific functional strengthening exercises and stretches that will improve your balance, strength and stability in the saddle. This class aims to increase core strength and stability, along with improving flexibility and posture. This leads to better body awareness, and most importantly, better riding. All classes are run by a registered physiotherapist.
To join a group Pilates For Riding class, you must first undertake an initial assessment. In this appointment we will discuss your goals and any existing injuries you may have, along with introducing you to our teaching methods and assessing your current ability.

Class size is kept small (maximum 6-7 people) to ensure each participant receives individual attention and instruction throughout the class.
In our small individual programs class, each participant is prescribed their own specific exercise program. The program set for you may include a mix of core stability, general strengthening, postural corrections, balance and stretching. These classes are aimed at those suffering/recovering from injury or those simply wanting a more individualised exercise program designed specifically for any underlying issues you may have. Everyone works at their own pace and their own level. The class offers an opportunity to perform your rehabilitation program under close supervision of a physiotherapist and with access to all our equipment, including the reformer.
Prior to joining an individual programs class, you must first undertake an initial assessment. In this appointment the physiotherapist will take a detailed history, perform a thorough assessment to identify the areas that need to be focused on, and will start to plan your individual program. Each week this program will be reviewed and upgraded as appropriate.
Classes size is kept small (maximum 4 people) to ensure each participant receives individual attention and instruction throughout the class.
